Donna Taylor, 36, was found dead inside the Silverado Hotel in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, along with Allan Best, 46. RCMP said autopsies revealed that their deaths were homicides.
Both Taylor and Best had lived in Dawson Creek and were last seen alive four days earlier.
According to her obituary, Taylor was born in Red Lake, Ont., raised on the St. Theresa Point First Nation in Manitoba and lived most of her adult life in Winnipeg. She had moved to Dawson Creek a few years before her death to be close to three of her children.
